Dorothy "Dot" Gray
MEMPHIS – Dorothy Evelyn “Dot” Gray, 81, went home to her Lord and Savior Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, at Methodist Hospice Residence in Memphis, Tenn. A Tupelo native, she was born May 13, 1930, to Hilliard and Annie Quinn Roberts. She lived in Memphis for many years before moving to Munford, Tenn., to be with her family. She was a member of Leawood Baptist Church in Memphis. She loved her family and her cat, Angel.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues. Burial will be in Priceville Cemetery. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters, Connie Pate (Don) of Munford, Tenn., and Debbie Hayes (Richard) of Edgemoor, S.C.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Gray, in 1997 and an infant daughter, Pamela Gray, in 1958.
Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at the funeral home.
