Tupelo - Scott Henderson, 42, died Monday, November 28, 2011, at his residence. A native of Dayton, Ohio, he was born December 15, 1968 to William and Brenda Lee Followell Henderson. He was raised in Tupelo where he graduated from Tupelo High School and played soccer. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the American Legion, Post 6 in Corinth. He worked several years as warehouse manager for Briggs Incorporated in Corinth

Stateroom services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2011, at W.E. Pegues with Rev. Warren Jones officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park.

Survivors include his mother, Brenda Henderson (Gary Briggs) of Corinth; his sisters, Emily Henderson and Rebecca Henderson, both of Idaho; his uncle Larry Followell (Ann) of Jasper, Ala.; his aunts, Linda Taylor (Tom) of Houston, Tex, Judy Koger of Little Rock, Ark.; his grandmother, Wilma Followell of Tupelo; step-brother, Eddie Briggs (Pam) of Corinth; two step-sisters, Rhonda Kirk (Keith) of Dallas, Tex. and Robin Ferguson (Joe) of Jackson, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Henderson; his grandfather, Aubrey Followell.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home.
