Condolence From: Debra Dodson Doskocil
Condolence: My family and the Grubbs have been friends, church family and much much more since I was 4 years old. Anytime Mayo was asked to sing, momma always went with him to play the piano. This is truly a deep loss for all of us. I have always had the highest respect for Mayo. Anytime I needed him (sometimes for tickets) he always made the time to see me. He made me feel like I was a member of his family. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family, Peggy, and for all of us that were privileged to have known him and were able to served our Lord to with him.

Condolence: Mr. Grubbs was a wonderful man. Prayers and thoughts go out to the Grubb's family. My mother, Sue Rakestraw spoke so highly of him. I know he will be missed by many but Heaven is a little brighter.

Condolence From: Debbie R Johnson - Prior Shannon Municipal Court Clerk
Condolence: My heart grieves today over a man that was a well respected man of the community of Shannon, Lee County Residents, as well as the Court System. He was a Judge that rendered a verdict of the court by justice and humility of mankind. He made me feel comfortable and important to him as his Court Clerk and a friend that could talk to him about anything and everything. We had such a good relationship in work and in life. We had great talks about work and our families. He made me feel like I was important to him as a court clerk and as a friend. I will never forget my first day of court in Shannon Municipal Court as the court clerk with him on the bench. I was scared to death when he said to me "Don't worry if things get to fast or confused for you, just say Judge, slow down." He was the kind of person you could talk to and reason with but stood firm on his Christian values which made him not only a great man but a great Judge. He will always have a special place in my heart and I Loved him like a Father. The Angels rejoiced as his name was called " Judge Mayo Grubbs" my friend and my judge.

Condolence From: Wanda Pettey Hobson
Condolence: Although I am unable to express my sympathy in person, I love the Grubbs family and pray for solace for you. Mayo was such a help to me when I was grieving and trying to rear two teenage boys on my own. So much of what he did for people was anonymous, and not for his own glory. His reward in heaven will be great for the good he did in life. He truly was God's servant.
