Tupelo - Orville Kenneth Rodgers, 71, died Friday, January 27, 2012, at Tupelo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Tupelo on May 30, 1940 to Orville Doyle and Betty Pauline Johnston Rodgers. He liked to spend time with his family and grandchildren. He especially enjoyed fishing with his grandsons, Joshua and Curtis.

Graveside services will be 4 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2012 at Priceville Cemetery with Rev. Ken Hester officiating

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Della Jane Cunnigham Rodgers; two children, Betty Lou Wiley and Curtis Rodgers; 9 grandchildren, Joshua Rodgers of Tupelo, Curtis,Tabatha Ann, Kandy Ann, Cody and Casey Rodgers, Carl and Allen Dewayne Wiley and Camry Rhyne; five great-grandchildren.
