Mantachie - Sandra Gale “Aunt Kay Kay”, 51, died Saturday, February 11, 2012, at The North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born in New Albany on November 23, 1960 to Lonnie and Betty Tallant. She was a member of Cairo Baptist Church in Ecru. She loved shopping, yardsales and collecting light houses.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Cairo Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Butler officiating. Burial will be in Glenfield Cemetery in New Albany. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is entrusted with the arrangements.

Survivors include her daughter, Wendy Thomas (Ryan) of Enterprise, Alabama; her son, T. J. Gresham (Shannon) of New Albany; her mother, Betty Tallant Wilhite (J.W.) of Pontotoc; seven grandchildren, Allison and Shelby Thomas, Chasity and Brianna Gresham, Kendrea Guyton, Skyler and Anna Reese Harmon; her brother, Larry Tallant (Judy) of Ecru; two sisters, Patsy Mills of Mantachie and Brenda Roberson (Steve) of Cairo; special friend, Ryan Russell of Mantachie; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lonnie Tallant; her sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Preston Gale; her brother-in-law, Robby Mills; grandparents, Fairy and Earlee Denton and Mary Alice and Clovis Tallant.

Pallbearers will be Ronald, Roy and Ray Seger, Michael Ray Wood, Allen and Timothy Ellis.

Honorary pallbearers will be Neal, Chris, Nicky and Michael Gant, Randy Seger and Lee Tallant.

Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2012 at the Church.
