CHARLES THOMAS

Pontotoc – Charles Richard Thomas, Jr., 67, died Friday, February 17, 2012, at The North Mississippi Medical Center. He was married to Nancy Louise Palmer in June of 1962 who preceded him in death on October 18, 2009 after 49 years of marriage. He was born in Berks County, Pennsylvania on May 16, 1944 to Charles Richard Thomas, Sr. and Collen Moore Thomas. He was a maintenance mechanic and retired from Quadrant in Reading, Pennsylvania. He loved being outdoors, hunting, target shooting, nature, his animals and his dogs.

Survivors include three children, Cindy Dierolf of Reading PA, Jean Thomas of Pontotoc and Michael Thomas of Harrisburg, PA; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; five siblings, Cheryl Wooten and Carol Culpepper (Robert) both of Okolona, Chandra Alford (Donnie) of Houston, Cynthia Moore (Roger) and Clifton "Bug" Thomas, both of Okolona.

He was preceded in death by his his parents and his wife.
