Saltillo - Zachary Neal Martin, 24, died Saturday, March 3, 2012, of an automobile accident. He was born in Tupelo on October 29, 1987 to Dr. Walter Neal Martin, Jr. and Suzan Shorter Martin. After graduation in 2006 from Saltillo High School, he attended Mississippi State University. He was a fraternity member of Alpha Gamma Rho. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Saltillo, enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a talented musician.

Services will be 10 a.m Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Dr. Ken Anderson officiating. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at New Zion Cemetery in Braxton.

Survivors include his parents; his two sisters, Jessica Martin of Starkville and Lizzie Martin of Saltillo; his grandparents, G.W. and Jessie Shorter of Braxton and Walter Neal Martin, Sr. and Dorothy Tinnin Martin of Brandon.

Pallbearers will be Matt Shows, Jon Hunt, Brenton Woodall, Jordan Hood, David Peck and Scott Howell.

Visitation will be 3 - 8 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Saltillo Funeral Home.
