Verona - Sandra Lee Robbins, 55, died Thursday, August 4, 2011, at The Sanctuary Hospice House after a brief illness. A Tupelo native and resident of Verona, she was born May 19, 1956, to Leo and Josie Pope. She graduated from White Station High School in Memphis and was employed at the Mississippi State University Extention experimental station until her health failed. She attended Furrs Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include two sons, Jacob Wade Pope of Mt. Home, Ark. and Charles Richard Wages, Jr. of Stutgard, Ark.; her sister, Brenda Luttrell of Horn Lake; brother, Thomas Pope of Nashville, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Eddie Pope.
