Condolence: Dear Dennis, I wanted to come to the service, but I'm in St.Louis working. When I found out from Terry that Karol had passed away, I was so shocked and so sad to know that I had lost one of the dearest friends I've ever had. Those 10 years that I spent there beside you and Karol were some of the happiest years of my life. It would all be different if we had stayed put, but that's a whole another story for another day. I'll never forget the ice storm of 93 and how afraid she was and how you were in our driveway clearing branches with your chainsaw before you ever even started clearing your own driveway. That's the kind of neighbors you both were, and I'll never forget you for it! Thank you for taking in Mitzee the cat and caring for her for so many years...that meant so much to me too. Dennis, I'm so sorry for your loss and will pray for peace and calm for you during this sad time. Thanks for the wonderful memories and know that my thoughts are there with you. Condolence: Mrs. Voge was my Challenge teacher at Carver. She was one of my favorite teachers and she will be deeply missed. We always loved to pick at each other, me being a State fan and her an Ole Miss fan. I saw her often around town and she always took time to speak. My thoughts and prayers are with the family,

Judy and I want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Condolence: Karol Jean has been a part of my life as far back as I can remember. First, as my first grade and favorite teacher and then as a friend. We have traveled together, tailgated in The Grove for many an Ole Miss football game and always laughed together. I will miss her laugh and her enthusiasm for the things she loved and found joy in. The world could certainly use more like her. I know every fall if you listen close enough you'll hear Karol Jean yelling Hotty Toddy.
